Description
I've started this painting some time ago, for my little daughter, which likes owls so much, I don't know where she came from with this, because she's not even 3 years old yet, but she really likes them. So this is a baby owl for her, and also for the kittyKat 's contest, "The eternal bird-contest".I hope you like it

...I agree with CloudBurst about the background, the owl looks a little pasted on...but still a great character piece.

I dunno how you did it and maybe it's just me, but this owl looks like it'd have some human qualities XD Like it would be a "special owl" or something, haha I dunno! I'm really digging the piece

And you are right about the background, maybe it's a little flat, but I'll tell you a secret, My first thought was not to make any background at all, and then I said that maybe something looking like a shadow of a dark forest would just give to the picture more atmosphere. So I did this.
