i like the eyes & the dove! very nice! the only crit is the ray of light i thinkk its too bright.

The dove is awesome! The ray seems good to me but the it will be better if the reflection of the dove in the eye is abit spherical, distorted

any form of help for the tsunami victims and families will be great..we the lucky ones who need not go through their suffering should give all our support that we could...

IF, the patternwork you 've done for the blue iris, has any connection with the giant tides responsible for the catastroph ,.. in that case, I would say that you have just developed a very strong idea to illustrate a historical tragedy, as an artist.
But also, I wish there was no white pigeon around , cos that is most commonly tend to symbolize peace, against war. So there is no direct connection with such case here. the dove is a totally unneccesary detail in this pict. , beside, used&abused sooo many times.

And also i wish, that teary one eye was looking right into wievers eye.

If it was, I, would feel like I'm the tide itself, like a murder seeing his own reflection on his victims eyes, before they fade.

And I again, as a viewer, would strongly be feeling the horror and the desperation that those people destined to experience..

So I find this picture alittle bit , misuse of a very strong idea. . well, this is my opinion any way, being subjective,. good ideas dont come often , so what make some works great has also to do with the simplicity that the artist suggests in his approach.

How can the reflection show the side of the bird that is facing away from the eye?? I see what you were trying to pull off, but reflection of the bird isn't going to be a translucent, smaller version of the big one.

I also thing the shadows of the bird should be much darker, to emphasize the bright lights shining behind it.

I think you have a nice piece started, but it needs a little more work.

very nice dove but I dont think a dove would be that small so close to an eye like that and I think the eye would have blinked if a small dove flew by
